Apprentices

Kickstart your career with an electrical or mechanical engineering apprenticeship at EEL!

You’ll gain hands-on experience operating, repairing, and servicing our specialised equipment. Apprentices work at our Beccles warehouse and attend college one day a week, building skills that can lead to a permanent role on our field crew.

Field Technicians

We’re looking for experienced electrical and mechanical technicians with a passion for problem-solving and innovation. As a field technician, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and operating our geophysical, geotechnical, and industrial equipment on projects ranging from renewable energy to environmental research.

Key requirements:

  • HNC or Level 3 qualification in electronics, mechanics, or hydraulics
  • Medical and survival training (or willingness to complete)

  • Valid driving license

When not in the field, you’ll be based at our Beccles warehouse, ensuring our equipment is always ready for action.
