Datem Neptune 3000 cone penetration test

A compact coiled tubing, marine cone penetration test (CPT) system, suitable for smaller survey vessels. This CPT unit is commonly used for soil investigations for cables and pipelines, and site investigations for wind farms.

We also have a larger Datem Neptune 5000 CPT System, and various winches and HPUs that are suitable for deploying CPT systems, available for hire.

This cone penetration test systems works well with our 7,500 kilogram lift winch. This hydraulic winch can come fitted with a single armoured lift and data cable. This enables the winch to operate the CPT unit on its own, without the usual need for two winches with separate lift and data cables.
