Van-Veen-Grabs

Van Veen Grabs are a simple and reliable way to collect undisturbed samples from the top sediment layers of sea, lake and river beds, for chemical analyses, biological studies, hydrological surveys and environmental monitoring.

Features

Light weight and portable, the Van Veen Grabs are available in three sizes listed below.

All models have access flaps in the bucket tops to enable sampling of the sediment before the buckets are emptied. Lead weights can also be mounted on the buckets and arms, allowing the grabs to be deployed in strong currents and to assist in the sampling of compact sediments.
