The Manta 200 marine cone penetration test (CPT) system has a reputation for durability and reliability, with excellent productivity rates and low downtime. Due to its ability to push casing tubes into the sediment, this chain-drive based CPT unit performs well in difficult geology, which can challenge other CPT systems.

The Manta 200 is commonly used for site investigations for cables and pipelines, wind farms and other offshore renewables, and civil engineering projects. It has a range of different ballast options that allow extensive adjustment of its weight – from 5,000 to 28,000 kilogrammes – depending on the requirements of the job.
