A large multiple corer for collecting 12 samples of sediment, including the sediment/water interface and overlying supernatent water. Such systems are widely used for soft sediment sampling – from lake or sea beds – in biological, chemical, environmental and geochemical applications.

We also have winches available for hire that are suitable for use with this multiple corer, including fully electric fast sampling winches. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

We also have small and large box corers for taking single samples of areas of 0.05m² and 0.25m² available for rental.

Features

This rugged multiple corer is easy to use and deploy. Due to its hydrostatic dampening system, which controls penetration speed, it collects multiple samples of virtually undisturbed sediment. After sediment penetration, the 12 cores are positively sealed, top and bottom, to preserve the integrity of the samples.
